North Las Vegas voters will elect a mayor and City Council members representing Wards 1 and 3 on Nov. 3, along with deciding a Municipal Court Judge, Department 1 race to fill an unexpired term, according to the city's 2026 elections page.

The city's unofficial candidate filing list includes Scott Black and Daniele Monroe-Moreno among those who filed for mayor. The list also identifies candidates who filed for the Ward 1 and Ward 3 council seats. Filing records should not be confused with the final certified general-election ballot.

The mayor and City Council members serve four-year terms, according to the city. Their terms are staggered, with municipal elections held every two years. The city elects different groups of council members in alternating election cycles.

Under the North Las Vegas City Charter, general municipal elections are held on the first Tuesday after the first Monday in November of even-numbered years. The mayor and two council seats are elected in one cycle, while the other two council seats are elected in the following cycle.
